Security
Reports to: Security Supervisor
Scope: Guards casino property and guests against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry by patrolling building and grounds. Checks doors, windows, secure areas. Assist gaming and count teams. Warns violators of House and gaming rule infractions and drinking violations. Issue keys, forms, and cards. Control and inspect parking lost and access area. Escort sensitive items. Respond to medical emergencies.
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a "Key" gaming license.
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required, at least one year of college or technical school, Policy Academy or Law Enforcement preferred or substitute experience. Ability to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.
Experience: At least 3 - 6 months training and experience.
Skills & Abilities: Have the ability to write incident reports and to effectively present information one-on-one or in small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and the ability to deal with problems as they arise.
Physical: Must be physically fit. Requires standing, walking, bending. May be required to lift up to 30 pounds. Must have good vision (corrected 20/20).
